Quote of the Day

"Growth is not sudden, it's on going."
-Lashon Smith

Running Around

Things have been picking up for us, running around trying to handle so many things, people steady calling my phone, along with mental exhaustion, make good enough excuses for me not to have added to this blog for about a week. Everything is going as planned, so I'm not complaining. If I had to summarize the last week I would just say everything happend. We got the iron press machine, over $700 in t-shirts and hoodies, a new jet laser printer, a video camera, and we also got wireless internet connected in the crib. These were all some essential things needed for mass production. So now we can print images on t-shirts for the clothing line, and have more then one person on the internet at once. So, basically ain't nothing changed we still on the road to riches.

Quote of the Day

"Our success is not only a movement, but a lifestyle."

Ensure Your Success?

Yes, you can ensure your success by working with these universal laws and I wholeheartedly can guarantee your success!

1. The Law of Love. "In this world, hate never dispelled hate. Only love dispels hate. This is the law, ancient and inexhaustible", words of wisdom from the Buddha. The power of love to transform lives and make this world a better place is happening right now, you can see the works of Mother Theresa and you can see the positive influence of Dalai Lama to promote peace and harmony in the world. If you want a better life add love and wisdom into your life.

2. The Law of Cause and Effect. You've heard it many times in many forms and taught in many religions. What you sow, you shall reap. What you think, say and do will have an effect on you. What you give, you shall receive. If you want to be happy, healthy and wealthy, go and help people to be happy, healthy and wealthy! This universal law applies with every thought, word and action and it can return to you in ten folds or hundred folds! It works every time and you can run but you can never hide, it will come to you in one form or another so be careful of what you think, say or do!

3. The Law of Giving and Receiving. You cannot give without receiving and you cannot receive without giving. It is like the yin and the yang, they stick together. "There was a man, they thought he was mad, but the more he gave, the more he had!"

4. The Law of Forgiving and Rewarding. "To err is human, to forgive, divine." Learn to forgive and let go of your grievances. Everyone makes mistakes and don't be too hard on yourself too. You are only human and you make mistakes too. Learn not only how to reward others for their good deeds but also to reward yourself for being a good person and for those wonderful things you have done in the past. Rewards can come in many forms, a compliment, a few kind words, an acknowledgement, a recognition or two simple words "Thank You"

5. The Law of Trusting and Believing. Have you read the book by Stephen M R Covey? The title is "The Speed of Trust". I highly recommend you to read this book. Life and business is based on trust and belief. It is very hard to get on with life if you lack trust and belief. Build trust and belief by living a virtuous life and doing what is right. Buckminster Fuller said it very well: "Integrity is the essence of everything." Be true to yourself and be true to others. You've heard it many times before, "The truth shall set you free." Say what you mean and mean what you say and always deliver what you promised!

6. The Law of Benefiting Others. You cannot help others without helping yourself and similarly you cannot hurt others without hurting yourself. We are all interdependent and what goes around comes around! Always think of how you can benefit others because by doing so you attract all the good forces in the world to help you achieve what you want to do! Link your goals and dreams to benefiting others and you will find you are able to achieve your goals and dreams sooner than you think!

7. The Law of Gratitude is also the Law of Abundance. Be grateful for the things you have in your life. Count your blessings! What you are grateful for will grow and expand. What you are not grateful for will decrease and leave you. Always have an appreciative attitude and there are always things you can be grateful for and wake up every day with a grateful attitude. Here are some good examples of how you can start your day with a grateful attitude. Be grateful that you have good health, good eyes, good ears, good senses and you are not suffering any great pain!

8. The Law of Multiplication is working all the time and that is how you came into this world from a sperm and an egg with the life code: DNA, you multiply from two cells to four cells to eight cells and so on! In life and business, you must understand the power of multiplication and how you can leverage on it and make it a positive force for good!

9. The Law of Averages. You cannot fail all the time! You can improve your law of averages with experience and wisdom and leveraging on a proven and tested system. Success is a process and many people give up half way, they didn't give success a chance! They have done half of the work but were not willing to complete the other half! The reason people give up half way is because of ignorance, lack of persistency and lack of vision of the success that is waiting for them when they complete the work!

10. The Law of Integrity. Confucius said: "Sincerity is the highest mark of a man" When you are sincere and speak the truth you are just like the sages who make a positive difference to millions of lives with their words of truth and wisdom. When you look into the mirror every day, ask this question: "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the cause of it all?" Take responsibility for your results in life. You are where you are today it is because of your past decisions and actions. If you want a better life, make better decisions and do more good deeds!

If you have found that you have benefited from this article on the 10 universal laws, please share it with your loved ones and friends and do your part to make life better and make this world a better place to live for all people!

Today we got our flyers back for Devine Property Management and they came ,that's exactly what we needed to get this ball rolling. It'ts time to hit these streets and get it popping and it should be no time before we establish some real cliental. On top of that we went ahead and ordered a iron press, so we can get rolling with UnJust/Antonio Valorous Clothing too. We been doing all the necessary footwork so it be long before we start seeing some real dough. So, we just gon stay grounded and keep grindin.

Quote of the Day

"Struggle is just a part of my day,
Many ostacles have been placed in my way,

I know the only reason that I make it through,
Is because I never stop believing in you,

Some people wonder why we hear in the first place,
And can't believe cause they ain't never seen yo face,

But even when you pray, the next day you gotta try,
Can't wait for nobody to fall down out the sky,

You got to realize that the world's a test,
You can only do yo best and let him do the rest,

You got yo life, you got yo health,
So quit procastinating and push it yo self...."

In Due Time

The song "In Due Time," that was my joint especially CeeLo's verse, he killed it. But not only that what he was saying was so powerful, it came out a while ago when we were in high school and it touched me then and now to go back and listen to it again it hit home even harder. All of us being musical people, are touched by songs in different ways, and these are the songs that become our lives soundtrack. So, I'ma go ahead and use CeeLo's verse for the quote of the day. But, in the mean time think about the soundtrack for your life, all the songs that inspire you, motivate you or just make it that much easier to get through your day.

Quote of the Day

"Perseverance and failure cannot coexist. Failure happens when you quit. When all is said and done, perseverance, commonly referred to as "stick-to-itiveness," is the ultimate success insurance. Nothing can take its place."
-Unknown

Dig a little Deeper

There's a story about the California gold rush that tells of two brothers who sold all they had and went prospecting for gold. They discovered a vein of the shining ore, staked a claim, and proceeded to get down to the serious business of getting the gold ore out of the mine. All went well at first, but then a strange thing happened. The vein of gold ore disappeared! They had come to the end of the rainbow, and the pot of gold was no longer there. The brothers continued to pick away, but without success. Finally, they gave up in disgust.

They sold their equipment and claim rights for a few hundred dollars, and took the train back home. Now the man who bought the claim hired an engineer to examine the rock strata of the mine. The engineer advised him to continue digging in the same spot where the former owners had left off. And three feet deeper, the new owner struck gold.

A little more persistence and the two brothers would have been millionaires themselves. That's gold in you too. Do you need to dig three feet farther?

PERSERVERANCE

What is perseverance?

Perseverance is commitment, hard work, patience, endurance.
Perseverance is being able to bear difficulties calmly and without complaint.
Perseverance is trying again and again.

Quote of the Day

"I have missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot and missed. And I have failed over and over again in my life. And that is why, I succeed."
-Michael Jordan

I don't know what it is but I have been more into poetry lately, while searching for topics and quotes for this blog I have come across more and more poems that make a lot of since and really express some of the thoughts and feelings that we have. So this week we have just been working hard trying to sell some hoodies and tshirts to make some money. The customer that we showed the contract and estimate to, seemed to have fell through. But, although we're in debt, behind on our phone bill and rent, we ain't worried about a thing. And when I stumbled across this poem from Maya Angelo I not only remember why it was one of my favorites but I felt like she was talking about us all of us. Because no matter what I Still Rise...

I Still Rise

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops.
Weakened by my soulful cries.

Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
'Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin' in my own back yard.

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise.

Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?

Out of the huts of history's shame
I rise
Up from a past that's rooted in pain
I rise
I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that's wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise.

Quote of the Day

"If you can't fly, run. If you can't run, walk. If you can't walk, crawl. But by all means keep moving."

-Martin Luther King Jr.

Don't Quit

Sometimes we put our all in to things and they still just don't work out the way we planned. That alone is enough to feel like all your efforts went in vein and maybe even make you want to quit start second guesting yourself and everything else. When ever I feel that way I just try to take a moment to reflect and think of a way to come back even stronger, because I know we've come way to far now to look back the other way. And I'll tell myself I'm not a quitter so quitting is not a option. I know we all battle ourselves but no matter how hard the battle may be lets stay positive, strong and always remember ....

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will;
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill;
When the funds are low, and the debts are high;
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh;
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Success is failure turned inside out;
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;
And you can never tell how close you are;
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things go wrong that you mustn't quit.

"Slow Motion, Better then no Motion."
-Common

Let's get it

We start a new week, with a lot to do, we were supposed to start a job this week but it's not looking to good though. We went into Staples the other day and used our business credit card for the first time, so that was cool but we needed this job to pay the bill. We aint trippin, it was cool though we found some programs that we will be able to use to make professional looking invoices and estimate sheets, we also got a receipt book, and a wireless router so now we can get some things done. So, with all our new toys we put together a estimate sheet, invoice and we also printed out our contract and went to take on our first customer. It was challenging but we got through it and it was a good learning experience we learned a lot about contracts, dealing with people and patience. The weekend was super busy, because we have been helping Straw get the clothing line going with everything else. It's a lot of work but everyone has been working together and it's a beautiful thing..So we'll just keep on pushin

Quote of the Day

"What you do speaks so loudly, that I cannot hear what you say."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Walk the walk

We all know that saying "it's easier said then done," but it seems as though a lot of us out here like doing what's easy because all we do is talk. Talk, talk, talk and nothing gets done and no action is taken. It's about time that we stopped talkin that talk and started walkin that walk. Excuse language but ain't SH*T else to talk about, you know what you suppose to do and what you need to do so do it. First of all people really don't want to hear you talk, especially if you're the type that just keeps repeating yourself talking about what you're gonna do. Who are you really trying to convince?

"Faith is taking the first step and not being able to see the whole staircase."
-Martin Luther King Jr.

Worry

I never knew what the meaning of worried was, I mean I had a understanding of what it meant but the true meaning is interesting. I thank GOD for all the knowledge he has blessed me with, I understand that I could never have it all, and the day you stop learning is the day you die..But like I said I thank GOD because the more wisdom and understand we get the less CONFUSION we have and we can live without FEAR, WORRY free...

THE MOST POWERFUL LAW IN THE UNIVERSE

The Most Powerful Law in the Universe

"Our thoughts and feelings are the colors that paint our reality." - Eva Gregory

Are you aware of what a powerful creator you are? Do you know that everything that is happening to you or has ever happened to you is, without exception, in full response to your thoughts — and more importantly — the emotions behind those thoughts? Take a look at your life. There are probably some areas you're really happy with and some areas you're not so happy with. You may even believe you are a victim of your circumstances. I'm here to tell you, you are not a victim! It's simply a matter of understanding how to play the Game (of Life) by understanding the rules...the Laws that define the Game.

Would you agree that whether you believe in the law of gravity or not, it exists? It is the same with Universal Laws. They exist and affect you whether you are aware of them or not. However, Universal Laws are far more powerful than gravity. Gravity affects earth. Universal Laws are infinite and beyond all boundaries.

Of all the Laws, the single most powerful law is the Law of Attraction which says: "That which is likened unto itself is drawn" or more simply put, "Like attracts like". This means that what you are focused on, you draw to you. Here's how it works. When you are focused on what you want, you are attracting to you what you want. When you are focused on what you do not want, you are attracting to you what you do not want.

Okay, I can sense you rumbling out there and your thoughts are probably going something like "So if it's that simple and clear, why haven't we known this before?" Or, "I've been focused on wanting more money for years, so why hasn't it come to me?"

The Law is that simple. However, our thoughts are usually very unfocused and running in many directions at once. For example, you may say "I want a sleek new sportscar." In that moment, the Universe is orchestrating circumstances and events to bring it to you. And yet, usually, in the same sentence, we sabotage ourselves by saying something like, "but I can't afford it." So, in essence, the Universal forces say, "Wait a minute. Now he says he can't afford it." And you stop the energy flow.

So, take it a step further. When you are thinking about wanting a new sportscar, but feeling you can't afford it, where are your emotions vibrating? In most cases, they are vibrating in feelings of lack; feelings that you want something you really cannot have. Can you see how, by not understanding this Law — that our thoughts and emotions are our attraction base — we hold things away from us we could otherwise have?

Let's take the example of money. You say you've been wanting more money for as long as you've been alive. When you think of wanting more money, how do you feel about it? Happy? Elated? Or frustrated? Angry? Sad? Maybe, jealous of those who do have money? In my experience, this particular subject has more people on an emotional roller-coaster than all other subjects combined. The good news is that it doesn't matter how long you've felt this way or how deeply...you can literally turn it around and begin flowing money to you by consciously and deliberately practicing the Law of Attraction through your thoughts and feelings.

Anything in your life you want to change, you can — simply by understanding the Law of Attraction, and choosing to deliberately change your thoughts and constantly reach for the thought that feels better. The way you predominantly feel about any given subject is your barometer for knowing what your balance of thought is on that subject. The circumstances of your life is another indicator. If you're ever wondering which end of the barometer your thoughts are on, check in with your emotions. Your emotions never lie about the way you are flowing your energy.

CONFUSION

Confusion just like fear an earlier blog entry is something else that has plagued us. For years, we have second guested ourselves, wondering what to do, what we should be doing, and how we should be doing it..

Today was a good day we got a lot done. It's funny how when we stopped second guesting ourselves and wondering how we would get things done, and started getting them done. We began seeing real progress..Earlier Brownsville Signs and Printing called me and told me that the "proof" for the Devine Property Management Inc. flyer was ready, so we went to check it out. And it was crazy, we were truly impressed with how it was put together. They hit it right on the head, we couldn't ask for anything more. Another week and we can hit the streets with those. In addition I was able to connect with Straw and he agreed to a merger between UnJust Clothing and Antonio Valourous. We got some money together so we could get some supplies and get started putting some sh*t out. Things are looking very promising on both sides so as long as we keep on pushin, we'll be straight in a minute......
